Cousin Camp

My kids left 5 days ago to attend their 3rd Cousin Camp in Idaho. I miss them!! 3 years ago Aunt Missy said she wanted all the cousins to come up Mon-Fri for camp. She would plan activities and events for them, all we would need to do is pack them and send a little money and enjoy a week of free time. The first 2 years Damon was too young to go, so he and I would have mom and Damon time, just the two of us! It was fabulous!! Although it went by much too quickly! This year however, Damon has reached (almost) the age of 5 to be able to attend Cousin Camp!. He was SO excited!! It's all the kids talk about as soon as school gets out. They get so excited to buy their secret pal gifts and count down the days until they leave! Corby took them up on Sunday and I haven't heard from them ALL week long! They do things like go to the lake, bb gun shoot out, sports day, cowboy day(ride horses), make crafts. This year there are 27 kids at Missy's house. AAAGGHH. Glad its her not me. I have loved my week alone with Corby. We have eaten out every night, been naughty, ;) ooohh its been fun. BUT, I am ready for my kids to come home!! I can't wait to see their pictures and share them with everyone!!

Colbi turns 9!

I love nothing more than waking up to my children the morning of their birthday!! I was a slacker this year for sure since I have been working! I hope it was a good one Colbi!! Love you!

I am so proud of my girl!! She has been working so hard on her routines and was so excited to show us all she has accomplished!! Way to go sis!

RAGNAR 2010 BABY!

This is us, at the beginning! Jamie and I had NO idea what we had gotten ourselves into. AAHH! I must say, I would do it again in a heartbeat! The runs were hard, 21.2 miles in less than 24 hours.. but the rest was a party! I LOVED IT!! Can't wait til next year. My favorite part was coming up on the girls while they were running and cheering them on! It was what kept me going, seeing them along side me hootin and hollering!!

Today is Jaxon's 11th B-day! He was such a good sport to let me go and run Ragnar. He was so excited to spend his bday in Idaho with Kaleb. All he wanted to do was fish and be with Kaleb! Happy Birthday Jax, I love you!!

Whenever I am running a race, the one thing that goes through my mind more than anything is my family. Especially when I know they will be there to watch me. I love to see them along they way, they give me support and encouragement when I need it the most!! It was so wonderful of Cheryl & Missy to bring them down to watch me!! Thanks!

Kat handed off to me. This was the start of my 2nd leg 8.9 miles. 1.5 miles up hill and then 7 downhill. It was BEAUTIFUL!! I started at Snowbasin, by the time I got in the car my toe was huge and eventually infected and now a missing toenail. All for running, gotta love it!!

I caught this guy!! It took me almost 30 minutes, he was almost 1/2 mile ahead of me most of the time.

We survived the 1st 24 hours, only a few hours of sleep and we are ready to start again. We have all ran our 1st 2 legs and I am just getting ready to start my 3rd and final leg. Yeah!!
